Fire Stations
The City of Kenora Fire and Emergency Service is deployed from four Fire Stations, with each Station having an initial geographic response area, defined as a Fire District.

District I (former Town of Kenora) or Fire Station
One is the only station that is staffed by career firefighting personnel twenty-four hours per day, three hundred and sixty-five days per year.

District II (former Town of Keewatin) or Fire Station
Two is staffed by volunteer firefighters on an on-call basis.

Districts III (former Town of Jaffray Melick/Rabbit Lake) or Fire Station
Three is staffed by volunteer firefighters on an on-call basis. This Station is located in the Rabbit Lake area.

District IV (former Town of Jaffray Melick/East Highway) or Fire Station
Four is staffed by volunteer firefighters on an on-call basis. This Station is located on Highway 17 East, approximately 8 kilometres from the center of the City of Kenora.
To any emergency response, the City of Kenora Fire and Emergency Service has the ability to dispatch 8 pumpers.
As well, one aerial, one rescue, and two utility vehicles serve the City of Kenora.
Also at the Fire Services' disposal is a boat that is capable of transporting firefighting personnel and equipment to lake access values within the City of Kenora.
