The Solid Waste Department provides the following services

Residential collection of waste materials on a weekly basis

Operation of the Kenora Area Landfill Site

Post closure monitoring of the Tri-Municipal Landfill Site

Hosting of an annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event - Sunday, August 15, 2010 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Facility Locations
Kenora Area Solid Waste Transfer Facility is located at 401 Mellick Avenue.
The Kenora Area Solid Waste Landfill Site is located on Highway 671 (Jones Road), 12 kilometres north of Highway 17A.
The Tri-Municipal Landfill Site is located on Highway 17 East, approximately 2 kilometres outside of the Municipality.
