Norman Drive Road Closed Due to Significant Water Main Break

Please be advised that there is a significant water main break at Norman Drive, and repair crews are currently on-site addressing the issue. As a result, an emergency closure of Norman Drive and surrounding roads is in effect. Traffic control will be in place.
We urge all Keewatin residents to reduce their water usage during this time.
For those planning travel to and from the Norman and Keewatin areas, please use the Kenora Bypass to help facilitate the repair work and minimize travel disruptions.

Please be advised that the precautionary boil water advisory issued on February 3, 2025, has been rescinded for all persons consuming water from the City of Kenora water distribution system from the following locations:
- Minnesota Street, address numbers 40, 30, 26, 22, 21, 19, 17, 15, 14, 13, 9, 8, 5, 2, 1;
- Pearson Street, address numbers 8, 16, 20, 28, 34, 42;
- 931 Lakeview Drive, and
- 5 Bay Road.

Please be advised a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory has been issued to all persons consuming water from the City of Kenora water distribution system from the following locations:
- Minnesota Street, address numbers 1, 2, 5, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 26, 30, 40;

Water and Wastewater User Rate Changes for 2025 and 2026

Please be advised that effective January 1, 2025, City of Kenora water and wastewater user rates will increase by 8.8% to 9.2% (depending on meter size), for all customers in 2025 and 2026.
An average household that consumes 11.5 cubic meters of water can expect an increase of $12.61 per month in 2025 and $13.58 per month in 2026, depending on usage.
