Haunted House Contest

It’s Kenora Public Library’s second annual Haunted House Contest! And this time the adults get to join in on the fun. We will have two separate age categories this year: Children's (0-12 yrs) and Adults (13+yrs)

Participants create a haunted house diorama and submit their completed projects to the Library to be displayed and voted on.

Important Dates for Everyone

Contest opens October 1st
All houses must be submitted to the library no later than October 19th at 2:00pm
Voting will be in-person and on Facebook, taking place from October 28th - 30th
The winner will be announced Halloween day!
Houses may be picked up no earlier than November 1st and no later than November 9th

Adult Rules and Guidelines

Contestants provide all their own materials
No food items allowed!
Houses can be no larger than 2' W x 2' H x 1' D
The Library reserves the right to refuse any work considered unsuitable
