Notice is hereby given that Council of the Corporation of the City of Kenora proposes, at its meeting to be held on February 15, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. to consider a By-Law to Surplus and Sell certain lands within the municipality.
A by-law will be placed on the Agenda of the Committee of the Whole on February 8, 2023 at 9:00 a.m., Council of the Corporation will then have the opportunity for consideration during their regular meeting on February 15, 2023.
The lands affected by the proposed by-law are located at an unassigned property on Superior Street, and are legally described as Plan 18 Block 72 Lot 11.
In October, 2022 the City of Kenora received a completed application for purchase of City Property, File No L07-22-04. The request to acquire the lands is to provide access to an abutting property which has been improved with a new single-detached dwelling.
