The Corporation of the City of Kenora has received an application from an abutting land owner to purchase City Property for a lot addition, as identified on the map below. The property consists of a portion of the road allowance for Railway Street. The purpose of this notice is to notify the public of the by-law that will be under consideration to declare that land available for disposal. The By-law will be placed on the Council Agenda for consideration on May 10, 2022.
The subject property is proposed to be sold and consolidated with the abutting lots to the south, which would then own the property on which their current parking lots have been developed.
