 Kenora Public Transit

The City of Kenora provides bus service routes taking riders from Market Square in the Harbourtown Centre to many destinations within the City.

Bus Fares
Pre-Paid Ride Punch Card Exact Cash Fare
$36 - 20 Ride Punch Card $2
$50 - 30 Ride Punch Card


Ensure you have the correct fare - only twoonies, loonies and quarters accepted. 

Ride punch cards are available for purchase at City Hall or the Kenora Library.

Fares are subject to change.

The City bus is equipped with a lowering ramp for those who require assistance
getting on and off the bus.

All routes begin at Market Square


Keewatin Express Route Map Part A & Keewatin Express Route Map Part B 
- with stops along Lakeview Drive, Ottawa Street bus shelter, Keewatin Public School and Keewatin Place bus shelter, Dairy Queen bus shelter

 

Keewatin Regular Route Map Part A & Keewatin Regular Route Map Part B
 - with stops at Paterson Medical Clinic and LOWDH, along Lakeview Drive, Norman Drive, Government Road bus shelter, Ottawa Street bus shelter, and Keewatin Public School

 

Lakeside Express Route - direct to Walmart and Canadian Tire shopping area

 

Lakeside Regular Route - stops at Kenora Recreation Centre, Safeway, Confederation  College, Anicinabe Park, Walmart, Canadian Tire, and Park Street, including Ted's No Frills

 

Pinecrest Express Route - direct to Heenan Place bus shelter

 

Pinecrest Regular Route - two alternating routes: North East Route and Rideout Route, with stops at Beaver Brae Secondary School, Sunset Place, JM arena, St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Pope John Paul II School, Ecole Ste Marguerite Bourgeoys, Heenan Place bus shelter, Pinecrest Home for the Aged, Harbourtown Centre

  

 

Taxi Cab Service

The City of Kenora issues licences to taxi company brokers, drivers and vehicles, and also sets the fares and calibrates the meters for all taxi cabs operating within the City.

Handi Transit

Handi Transit is available for those who meet eligibility requirements and are unable to use other forms of public transportation.  Buses equipped with lift systems are available by 24 hours advanced booking and a fare is collected for this door to door service.
