Kenora is perched on the north shore of Lake of the Woods and its 14,522 islands and 65,000 miles of shoreline, with 93% of 2021 visitors likely to return.

Tourism generated $262M in regional spending in 2021 (rebounding from COVID lows), with 50% of visitors spending >$1,000 per trip.

The Municipal Accommodation Tax drives tourism investment in the City with over $2.5 million in support for projects since 2018.
