Megan Dokuchie, Economic Development Officer
Megan graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University and she holds a Master of Arts in Economics from Dalhousie University. With over 13 years of experience in community economic development working in both municipal and federal government positions, Megan is well positioned to assist you through all aspects of your development proposal. Megan is co-chair of the Regional Economic Development Group, comprised of business and economic development professionals from across the Kenora and Rainy River Districts.
Marco Vogrig, Municipal Engineer
Marco has over 29 years of experience in municipal engineering, primarily in the area of water, sewer, bridges and roads. Marco is a registered Professional Engineer and brings unparalleled knowledge in terms of City of Kenora infrastructure systems.
Kevan Sumner, City Planner
Originally from Manitoba, Kevan has 17 years of professional planning experience, having worked in a variety of roles for municipal and provincial governments, and as a private consultant. Kevan has a Bachelor degree in Environmental Design and a Masters in City Planning, and is a candidate member of the Canadian Institute of Planners. He has been the City Planner for Kenora since May 2020.

Allyson Pele, Manager – Northwest Business Centre
Allyson is the Manager of the Northwest Business Centre (NWBC), the Small Business Enterprise Centre that offers small business services across the Kenora and Rainy River Districts. She is based out of Kenora and travels around the districts to offer workshops, business counselling and works with youth who are interested in entrepreneurship. She has a business degree from Mount Royal University and is passionate about helping small businesses. She sits as a co-chair on the Northwest Training and Adjustment Board (NTAB), the Regional Economic Development Group and Chairs the Services Sector Working Group in Kenora.
