    Due to the current interruption to postal services, the Interlibrary Loan service has been suspended indefinitely.

  • September 30th Closure

    The Kenora Branch Library will be closed on Tuesday, September 30th in recognition of Orange Shirt Day & the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

    We still have a few spaces left if you would like to sign up for our Learn to Play Mah Jongg sessions! The sessions take place on Saturday, Sept. 27, Oct. 4, and Oct. 11 from 10. a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and space is limited.

  • Council Approves Key Improvements for Keewatin Public Library and Portage Bay Bridge

    The City is pleased to announce that Council has approved budget spending for key infrastructure projects during this evening's Regular Meeting, including the roof replacement for the Keewatin Public Library and repairs to the Portage Bay Bridge.

  • Keewatin Library Update, Senior Programming and Library Services Continue

    The City of Kenora remains dedicated to continuing to provide library and senior programs to the community during the temporary closure of the Keewatin Library. 

  • Library and Senior Centre Programming Continues Despite Closure of Keewatin Library

    On June 28, the City of Kenora and Kenora Public Library Board announced that the Keewatin Library and Keewatin Senior Centre, located on Ottawa Street, will be closed until further notice due to structural issues with the roof.
