  • Pumpkin Floral Centerpiece Workshop
    It's pumpkin season and we are kicking October off with the talented Cindy Keuter! 
    Join Cindy at the Kenora Library on Saturday, Oct 3rd and learn how to make a floral pumpkin centerpiece for thanksgiving!
    The cost is $40/person and paid in cash to Cindy the day of the event.

    Local students and community members are invited to a free presentation by award-winning Indigenous author David A. Robertson on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Manidoo Baawaatig Seven Generations Education Institute.

  • Virtual Author Talk - Priya Parker

    Join us for a paradigm-shifting, essential event as we sit down with world-renowned master facilitator Priya Parker to discuss her groundbreaking new book, The Art of Fighting: The Transformative Power of Conflict

    In The Art of Fighting, Priya Parker explains that we can’t form and grow effective relationships without a fight. She rejects the idea that conflict is abnormal or that good groups don’t fight. All groups change and evolve; indeed, it’s because people disagree that good groups flourish.

  • Spice of the Month Club

    Available on the second Wednesday of the month at both Kenora & Keewatin branches. Spice Club packages contain a spice sample and an information brochure with recipes and book recommendations! Pick up is first-come, and available while supplies last.

    Hosted by Science North, a One-Day Celebration of Science, Innovation & Community! Join us for a FREE, fun-filled day of discovery at the Kenora Science Carnival—a vibrant community event where science comes to life! Families are invited to explore the exciting world of science, technology, and engineering through hands-on activities, interactive exhibits, and live entertainment. Featuring a Dog’s Life community BBQ and the Kenora Fire Department! Held under the Jarnel Contratcting Pavilion.

    Handprint Tree Activity 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM

    In recognition of National Truth and Reconciliation Day everyone is invited to trace and cutout their handprints and decorate it with meaningful symbols or encouraging messages, which will then be added to our tree display. Handprints symbolize unity, respect, and reconciliation & the tree represents deep roots and upward growth that reflects the long-term, patient commitment required for true societal healing and reconciliation.
