Lottery Licences
You can apply for a lottery licence in the City of Kenora if you belong to an organized charity or non-profit organization. The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulates lottery licence in Ontario.
Apply for a lottery licence
Contact customer service at 807-467-2000 and we will determine if you are eligible and guide you through the process. You can apply for the following licences:
- bingo
- raffle
- break open tickets

Fees
Depending on the type of lottery, the following fees will apply:
- bingo licences cost the amount of the prize times 3% times the number of events
- raffle licences cost 3% of the total prize value
- break open tickets cost the total prize of the box times 3% times the number of boxes
Alternative fundraising
We encourage you to raise funds through other means such as membership fees, grants, or other fundraising activities like bake sales or bottle drives, in addition to gaming schemes.
