Carlton Branch Road Upgrade Work

Please be advised that road upgrade work will begin on Carlton Branch Road on Monday, September 8, for approximately four weeks.

Traffic impacts and weekday work schedule

September 8 to September 19, 2025

  • Carlton Branch Road will be closed in two sections for culvert replacement and related maintenance. The road will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.
  • September 8 to 12: Closed from Alcock Road to house number 257 Carlton Road.  
  • September 15 to 19: Closed from Reddit Road to Alcock Road, with access to Alcock Road via Anderson Branch Road. 

September 22 to October 2, 2025

  • Granular road base placement will be carried out. During this time, traffic will be reduced to one lane on Carlton Road from Reddit Road to 257 Carlton Road with flagging operations in place.

Local traffic will be permitted whenever possible, and a detour will be in place via Anderson Branch Road during full closures.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as this important rural road maintenance project is completed.
