Calendar parking

Calendar parking is in place on select City streets from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day from November 15 to March 31, regardless of the weather or snow conditions.

Signs are posted where calendar parking is in effect. Be sure to check the signs to avoid a parking ticket.

Calendar parking means you can only park on one side of the street based on the calendar date.

If you park on an odd-numbered date on the side of the street designated for no parking on odd calendar days, you may be ticketed. Similarly, if you park on an even-numbered date on the side of the street designated for no parking on even calendar days, you may be ticketed.

Your cooperation not only controls congestion but ensures safe two-way traffic. Calendar parking keeps the streets clear of vehicles for snow removal, emergency vehicles, and general traffic flow.

Parking enforcement

Our By-law Enforcement Officers monitor parking meters, lots and boat launches daily to make sure we all have space available when we need it. They will check for valid permits and tickets, and expired meters.
