You are encouraged to recycle real Christmas trees after the holidays at the City of Kenora Transfer Station.

Free drop off

Recycle your real Christmas tree in the month of January free of charge.

Bring your tree to the scale building for directions to the drop off location.

Un-decorate your tree

Before bringing your tree to the Transfer Station, you must remove:

• ornaments
• lights
• tinsel
• garland
• plastic bags
