Essex Road and Beauty Bay Road Repairs

Please be advised that scheduled road repairs for Essex Road and Beauty Bay Road will begin on Wednesday, July 30, and are expected to last up to two weeks. 

The repair work will involve scarifying the surface-treated section and applying gravel on top. During the scarification process, rough and dusty conditions may occur until the gravel is added. Motorists are urged to slow down in this area while work is being performed. 

Once the repairs are complete, drivers will need to adjust to the improved road conditions and adhere to the posted speed limits. Driving at excessive speeds can lead to washboard and deterioration of the repair work.
