Back to SearchThe City of Kenora wishes to advise the public that, effective May 21, 2025, Kyle Attanasio has departed from the role of Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for the City of Kenora. Council thanks Mr. Attanasio for his service and contributions to the City and extends best wishes in his future endeavors.
To ensure stability and continuity during this period of transition, the responsibilities of the CAO will be jointly assumed by Heather Pihulak, Director of Corporate Services and City Clerk, and Stace Gander, Director of Economic Development and Tourism. As interim co-leads, Heather and Stace bring strong leadership experience coupled with more than 40 years of dedication to the City of Kenora and are committed to maintaining smooth operations across the organization.
City Council acknowledges that leadership transitions can bring a period of uncertainty, and we remain focused on supporting our staff and the broader organization during this time. We have a renewed commitment to upholding a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace for all employees.
City Council will be working closely with the interim CAOs and the City’s Senior Leadership to ensure short and long-term planning continues to meet the needs of the community. In the meantime, all City departments will continue operations as usual.
We thank our staff and community for their continued dedication and support as we move forward together.
