The City’s Economic Development and Tourism Department is excited to host ‘The Future of Business: It’s a Tall Order’ with keynote speaker Heather Thomson. 

Business owners are invited to attend an insightful keynote presentation on Thursday, November 7, designed to equip Kenora businesses with tools to sharpen their sales strategies and adapt to evolving consumer behaviour trends. Renowned keynote speaker, Heather Thomson, a leading expert in consumer behaviour and business strategy, will guide attendees through innovative methods to reach target markets and transition seamlessly from physical to digital engagement. 

Heather Thomson is the Executive Director of the Alberta School of Business – Centre for Cities and Communities, where she mentors future business leaders and collaborates with industry experts on education, consulting, and community outreach. With a wealth of experience consulting for businesses and communities across North America, Heather is passionate about empowering businesses to thrive in today’s evolving market. 

Heather's philosophy is: “Don’t just do things differently—do different things.” In this engaging session, she’ll provide actionable insights to help local businesses invigorate their strategies, connect with their community, and enhance their digital presence.
