Children's Programs

Craft materials are available every day, with new ones being put out every Monday.

Select programs take place regularly. Such as STEM Saturdays each weekend during Winter hours, and Memento Making every second Tuesday of the month. See our event calendar for more details!

Specialty programming

Throughout the year, the library puts on special programming. This can include, but is not limited to: magic shows, pop-up story times, holiday parties, and the TD Summer Reading Club. See our event calendar for more details!

PD day activities

When schools close for professional development days, the library offers specialized activities for kids of all ages in addition to regular programming.

Program dates and times will vary, and some programs may require pre-registration. Check out our events calendar, Facebook page, or Instagram for more details. You can also contact your local branch for additional information.

FIREFLY EarlyON Kenora is located in the lower level of the Kenora branch. EarlyON provides information and support on child development and parenting to families with children up to the age of 6 years. A place to play, a place to learn. For more information, check out EarlyON's website.
