As a property owner in the City of Kenora, you can request a tax certificate for your property taxes. If you are purchasing a property, your lawyer will usually request the tax certificate. This document shows the current tax status of a specified property, such as penalty and interest accrued, outstanding funds, previous year's levy, special charges and legal description of the property.
