Coney Island Lake Collection

If you live on Coney Island, the City of Kenora will collect your garbage and recycle from your dock seasonally.

Holiday exceptions

When a holiday falls on a Monday, this service moves to Tuesday.

First and last collection day

First collection: Tuesday after Victoria Day holiday

Last collection: Tuesday after Labour Day holiday

Collection rules

• Place items at the end of your dock by 8:00 a.m.
• All bags of garbage must have a full City of Kenora Bag Tag
• Place recycle items in a Blue Box or suitable container. Do not use a plastic bag.

Glass

Glass bottles or jars are not accepted; however, you can drop these off at the Transfer Facility recycle depot free of charge.

Household hazardous waste

Household hazardous waste (HHW) items are not accepted at the dock. The Transfer Station accepts HHW items on a seasonal basis at the once-a-week depot.
