Kenora Age-Friendly Committee
The Kenora Age-Friendly Committee coordinates initiatives aimed at creating an age-friendly community and implementing Kenora's Age-Friendly Strategic Plan. This work supports the World Health Organization's Age-Friendly Cities and Communities framework and Ontario's Age-Friendly Community Planning Guide.
Members
Council will appoint new members in the fall of 2026, coinciding with the next municipal election cycle. Stay tuned for announcements by subscribing to our Committee and Board Membership Notices for your chance to get involved.
The Age-Friendly Committee will be comprised of up to 13 community members, older adults (aged 55 plus), and representatives from organizations that serve, support, or advocate for older adults in the Kenora area.
