If you are not on the municipal water system or if you do not have access to potable water, there are two user-pay water dispensing stations where you can fill up cisterns and portable containers in the City of Kenora.
The stations dispense water from the City of Kenora water system; it is clean potable water.
Upcoming changes at the water stations
Both Crawford and Evergreen water stations are being upgraded to a new key-fob system. Crawford Station has been upgraded to the key-fob system. You can still access water at the Evergreen Station (low and high flow) using the current water card payment system. Evergreen Station will be out of service on Tuesday, August 6, for upgrades.
The new key-fobs are available for purchase at City Hall. Existing customers are encouraged to keep their current water card until the last required water fill prior to the upgrade dates. After the last card fill, water cards can be exchanged at City Hall for the new key-fob. If there is an account balance, it will be transferred to your new account at no additional cost. New customers purchase the new key-fob for $25. There is no change to the cost of the water.
