The Moncrief Construction Sports Centre offers a variety of fitness classes each month led by certified instructors held in either the Aerobics Room or the Rotary Room.

Barbell pump |
Using a barbell, this is a full-body strength session that will leave you feeling stronger and more confident.

Body balance |
A Beginner-friendly, bodyweight-only class designed to help you find your centre of gravity. The class incorporates two-leg, balance, and plyometric movement to enhance your stability while building core and full-body strength.

BootCamp |
Designed for maximum calorie burn in the shortest amount of time. We want to get you fit, get you healthy, challenge your mind and challenge your body!

Build it |
A strength–based workout using resistance bands, dumbbells, and barbells to achieve full body toning. Modifiable exercises for a range of fitness levels, from beginners to advanced exercisers.

Core cardio fusion |
Boost your heart rate and train your core with a class that combines work on the BOSU or Step and the mat to give you a great cardio sweat plus a healthy dose of core conditioning.

Empower |
Empower is a cardio and strength interval training experience. We turn the lights down low, music up high, and take you through a variety of intensity/heart rate levels to get a good sweat in. If you loved Rylee’s spin, this is a great alternative while she’s away!

Essentrics |
A dynamic, full body workout that combines stretching and strengthening while engaging all muscles. This equipment-free class will increase flexibility and mobility for a healthy, energized and pain-free body.

Full body blast |
From pyramids to partner countdowns, no workout is ever the same. However, you can count on having a sweaty, smiley, fun time, every time.

Groove |
Move to the music while getting your steps and cardio in! We build one move at a time – keeping our minds engaged while mastering the routine then stretch it all out.

HIIT-full body burnout |
Each class we will be changing it up to include Pyramids, Crazy 8's, Ladders and more - a strength and cardio mix!

Psychedelic spin |
Fire up those big muscles. Once the fluorescents go off and the psychedelic lights come on you will feel like you’re biking in your own world. Tune out the day while building your cardio and lower body strength. Before you know it we will be on your way feeling refreshed and stronger.

Fun, energized interval training class using weights, TRX, bands and BOSU to strengthen every body part and build muscle tone.

Recover |
Experience the benefits of muscle recovery and relaxation with a focus on full body stretching, mindfulness, rolling and finding calm.

Spin strong |
Let the music keep your legs pedaling for a solid cardio workout! Add in some strength work and Voila! It’s a full body workout checked off your list!

Let’s make our way through circuits and other timed workouts to tone, strengthen and challenge our whole body! TRX, weights, barbells and more!

TaiChi |
A combination style class incorporating Qigong and Yang style TaiChi. Reduces stress, improves balance and overall health.

Total x-haust |
Work all muscle groups with a variety of strengthening and conditioning exercises. This athletic-based sculpting class tones upper and lower body using resistance like hand weights, TRX and your own body weight.

X-train |
Focusing on high repetition movements to improve cardiovascular endurance and quickly produce lean muscle conditioning.

Zumba |
Combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow participants to dance away their worries. It is based on the principle that a workout should be “fun and easy to do”.
