Canada Day Celebration

Tourism Kenora invites you to the Kenora Harbourfront on July 1st to celebrate our nation's birthday. Canada Day festivities include all day free family activities, a specialty farmers' market, and fireworks. 

Schedule of events

Here is what is happening throughout the day: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• Live Shows: Paul Andrich Magic Shows at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
• Kids Activities: Bouncy castles, glitter tattoos, face painting, hair tinsel, and a photo booth.
• Special Guest Appearances: Meet Minecraft Steve, Paw Patrol Skye, and Scooby Doo!
• Entertainment: Live music, children’s entertainers and the St. Andrew’s Pipe and Drum Band.
• More Fun: Specialty Vendor Market, a Community Dunk Tank Fundraiser, and FREE Canada Day Cake sponsored by Safeway!

Community events

• 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Kenora Legion Canada Day Celebrations
  • (pancake breakfast, pool and euchre tournaments, mini meat draw, and Kinsmen BBQ).
• 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.: Mather Walls House Strawberry Tea
