2025 Main Street Christmas Tree Transport and Setup

Please be advised that City crews will be working at the Main Street Christmas Tree location in preparation for the holiday season from November 18 to 21, 2025.

On Tuesday, November 18, a ‘no parking zone’ will be in place on both sides of the 200 block of Main Street South while City Crews prepare for the tree set up.

On Wednesday, November 19, the Christmas tree will be transported and set up on Main Street South. Motorists can expect traffic delays while the OPP escorts the tree with CJ Edwards and Synergy North from north of the by-pass along Veterans Drive to Main Street South.

On Wednesday, November 19, and Thursday, November 20, Main Street South between Second Street South and Third Street South will be closed to all traffic as CJ Edwards, Synergy North, and City Crews position the tree and complete the holiday decorating.

The tree lighting ceremony is scheduled for Friday, November 21. Main Street South between Second Street South and Third Street South will be closed from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
