Holiday Hours

On Monday, May 18, the Lake of the Woods Discovery Centre is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. All other City buildings and facilities are closed.

Over the Easter Weekend, April 3 to 6, 2026, operating hours of City buildings and facilities change or modify to recognize the two statutory holidays, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

On Family Day, Monday, February 16, the Moncrief Construction Sports Centre is open from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Check out the Family Day activities planned or follow them on Facebook. All other City buildings are closed for the holiday, including the Transfer Station. Additionally, The Wave microtransit service does not operate on the holiday.

The City of Kenora recently updated the News and Notices webpage. During the update, a technical error caused all website subscribers to receive a re-notification for recent news posts. All City facilities will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, to observe Remembrance Day. The Wave microtransit service will operate on November 11.
