Please be advised that construction will begin on Tuesday, September 8, at the Sixteenth Avenue North railway crossing to install a sidewalk crossing.

Please be advised that the City’s unidirectional watermain flushing program will run from Tuesday, September 8, to Monday, October 5, 2026. Flushing will take place in the Norman and Keewatin neighbourhoods.

On Monday, September 7, most City facilities are closed to observe the Labour Day holiday. The Lake of the Woods Discovery Centre, 931 Lakeview Drive, will remain open and welcome visitors.

Please be advised that the western entrance of Beach Road will be closed to all traffic on Wednesday, September 2, and Thursday, September 3, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. 

Please be advised that Main Street South between McClellan Avenue and Second Street South will be closed to all traffic on Sunday, September 6, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Notice is hereby given that the list of all persons entitled to be electors for municipal elections in the City of Kenora has been prepared by the Clerk’s office.

Please be advised that Norman Park beach will be temporarily closed on Tuesday, September 1 and Wednesday, September 2 to allow for the removal of Hoopla Island. 

Please be advised that a portion of River Drive at the intersection of Fourth Street South and River Drive will be closed from Thursday, August 27 to Friday, September 4.

Additional Nominations were accepted between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 for Trustee, Keewatin-Patricia District School Board. 

Please be advised that Chipman Street from Second Street South to Thistle Drive will be closed to all traffic on Monday, August 31, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
