Please be advised that all City facilities will be closed on Wednesday, September 30, to recognize Orange Shirt Day and National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Please be advised that paving on Lakeview Drive will take place on September 23 and 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Please be advised that Fourth Street North, from Veterans Drive to Main Street North, will be closed to all traffic from Tuesday, September 22 at 8:00 a.m. to Wednesday, September 23 at 4:00 p.m.

Please be advised that the Precautionary Boil Water Advisory issued on September 12, 2026 has been rescinded.

Please be advised that Chipman Street near First Street South will be closed to all traffic on Wednesday, September 23, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Please be advised that a portion of Bernier Drive, the sidewalk, and parking spaces directly behind TD Bank will be closed to all traffic from Monday, September 21, 2026 to Friday, October 2, 2026.

Please be advised that the Coney Island – Kenora Rotary Playground will be temporarily closed starting Thursday, September 17, while the contractor completes final work on the playground.

A Precautionary Boil Water Advisory has been issued select addresses at Main Street Rideout and Scramble Avenue. All water from taps should be boiled for at least one minute. This advisory shall remain in effect until a notice of rescind is issued.

There is a road closure on sections of Tenth Street North, Main Street Rideout, and Scramble Avenue to repair a water main break. Motorists are advised to follow detours to avoid the work area. City staff are working diligently to complete the repairs. 

Please be advised that the Municipal Bridge Maintenance Program will begin on Monday, September 14, 2026, and continuing through November.  Maintenance activities will take place on ten municipal bridges throughout the City to help ensure they remain safe and in good condition.
