Coney Island Floating Walkway Installation

Please be advised that the Coney Island floating walkway will be installed on Thursday, November 12, 2026. 

As per City of Kenora By-law 140-2025, the walkway must be installed by November 15, before Safety Bay and the north shore of Coney Island freeze. We are monitoring the weather forecast to meet this requirement. 

Completion of this project depends on weather conditions, particularly high winds. If installation is delayed, the floating walkway will be installed on the next calm day.
