Temporary Closure of City Facilities
Staff Appreciation Event June 23, 2026
Please be advised that all City buildings and facilities, except Moncrief Construction Sports Centre, will be closed on Tuesday, June 23, between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. for a staff appreciation event.
Notice is hereby given that Council of the Corporation of the City of Kenora proposes, at its meeting to be held July 21 at 5:00 p.m., to consider a By-law to Stop Up, Close, Surplus and Sell a portion of an undeveloped road allowance identified as a portion of Spence Street, Plan M35 and Sell certain lands within the municipality.
Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the City of Kenora will hold a Public Meeting to consider a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment under City of Kenora Zoning By-law 101-2015 for 253 Anderson Road, Kenora, File D14-26-07.
Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the City of Kenora will hold a Public Meeting to consider a proposed Application for Temporary Use under City of Kenora Zoning By-law 101-2015 for 1060 Lakeview Drive and 832 Lakeview Drive, File D14-26-08.
Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the City of Kenora will hold a Public Meeting to consider a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment under City of Kenora Zoning By-law 101-2015, for 1053 Lakeview Drive, File D14-26-03.
Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the City of Kenora will hold a Public Meeting to consider a proposed Official Plan Amendment under City of Kenora Official Plan, 2015, as described below and with subject lands at 1060 Lakeview Drive, 832 Lakeview Drive, File D09-26-01.
Take notice that the Council of the City of Kenora passed By-law No. 18-2026 and By-law No. 19-2026 at a meeting on February 17, 2026, under Section 28 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended. By-law No. 18- 2026 designates the entire City as a Community Improvement Project Area, and By-law No.19-2026 adopts a new Community Improvement Plan (CIP) for the City of Kenora.
Council will hold a Public Meeting under s. 51 of the Planning Act to consider a proposed Draft Plan of Subdivision affecting lands located on Johnson Road.
Council will hold a Statutory Public Meeting under s. 34 and 39 of the Planning Act to consider a Temporary Use By-law as it pertains to Zoning By-law 101-2015. The proposed amendment would rezone the subject lands from RR – Rural Residential Zone to RR-T Rural Residential Temporary Use Zone.
Take notice that, in accordance with Section 28 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended, the Corporation of the City of Kenora will hold a Public Open House and the Council of the Corporation of the City of Kenora will hold a Statutory Public Meeting to consider a proposed new Community Improvement Project Area and Community Improvement Plan (CIP).
