Transfer Station is Open
The Transfer Station has reopened following the flood clean-up. All services have resumed and the facility is operating its regular hours.

The original Public Planning Proceeding of Council intended to be held on Tuesday, November 18, at 12:00 p.m., has been rescheduled to Tuesday, December 9, at 12:00 p.m.
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the City of Kenora will hold a Public Meeting to consider a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment under City of Kenora Zoning By-law 101-2015, as described below and shown on the attached map.
City of Kenora invites all interested persons to attend a Special Meeting of Council on October 3, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., to consider a By-law to Stop Up, Close, Surplus and Sell a portion of an undeveloped road allowance identified as Cross Street on Plan M25 and Sell certain lands within the municipality. File: L07-25-02, Location: Portion of Cross Street.
The City of Kenora Committee of Adjustment (COA) will hold a regular meeting on September 17, at 6 p.m.
As part of the meeting, the Committee will consider a proposed Minor Variance under Section 45 of the Planning Act (RSO 1990), for File: D13-25-13, Location: 14 Agate Bay.
City of Kenora invites all interested persons to attend a Special Meeting of Council on September 18 for the purpose of discussing the revisions that may be required as part of a proposed update to the City’s Official Plan, as documented in the Policy Directions and Recommendations Report, pursuant to the requirements of 26(3) of the Planning Act, RSO 1990, as amended.
