What's Open and Closed on Canada Day

On Canada Day, join us for a Canada Day Celebration. Gather your family and friends for free festivities on the Kenora harbourfront. Here's what open and closed on Wednesday, July 1:

What’s open on July 1

• The Muse, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., free admission
• Jarnel Contracting Pavilion for Canada Day celebrations
• Lake of the Woods Discovery Centre, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

What's closed on July 1

• Transfer Station and Recycle Depot
• Moncrief Construction Sports Centre
• Bowman Electric Keewatin Memorial Arena
• City Hall, including Provincial Offences Services
• Operations Building, including Planning, Building, and Cemetery Office
• Kenora Public Libraries
• There is no recycle and garbage curbside collection on July 1 for the Wednesday route, including lakeside and JM south of the by-pass.
• The Wave Mircrotransit does not operate on the holiday.

Essential services are on duty.
