Notice of Consideration for a By-law to Stop, Close, Surplus, and Sell Undeveloped Road Allowance
Notice is hereby given that Council of the Corporation of the City of Kenora proposes, is holding a Special Meeting of Council on October 3, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., to consider a By-law to Stop Up, Close, Surplus and Sell a portion of an undeveloped road allowance identified as Cross Street on Plan M25 and Sell certain lands within the municipality.

Location: Portion of Cross Street, Kenora, ON and legally described as PIN 42168-0596 PCL 1004 SEC DKF; CROSS ST PL M25; KENORA, identified as the ‘Subject Area’ in the key map below.
A report for consideration by the Council of the Corporation will be presented at the Special Meeting of Council on October 3, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. CT. The report, together with the meeting agenda, will be available for public review on our Agenda and Minutes page.
Purpose
The purpose of the request is to stop up, close, surplus and sell a portion of Cross Street, to enable the development of a multi-unit residential development along Fourth Street South. The sale will facilitate a cohesive and efficient site layout, allowing the developer to expand the project footprint.
