Traffic Lights at Lakeview Drive and Parsons Street Intersection Disabled on Wednesday

On Wednesday, November 26, 2025, starting at 8:00 a.m., the traffic lights at the intersection of Lakeview Drive and Parsons Street will be disabled for geotechnical drilling on Parsons Street and Minnesota Street. This work is to support the Intersection Improvement Project.

Motorists are advised to slow down and follow traffic control in the work area.

Keewatin Channel Bridge Weight Restriction

The Keewatin Channel Bridge currently has a vehicle weight limit due to scaffolding adjustments.

Vehicles weighing up to 8,500 pounds, including passengers and cargo, may continue to use the bridge via the signalled alternating traffic in the Eastbound lane.

All commercial vehicles weighing over 8,500 pounds must use the Highway 17A Bypass. 

Emergency vehicles and buses are permitted to cross the bridge with the flow of regular passenger traffic, although no more than one emergency vehicle or bus may be on the bridge at the same time.

Transmitter Road Traffic Reduced to One Lane

Please be advised that traffic will be reduced to one lane on Transmitter Road, between 101 and 215 Transmitter Road, on Wednesday, November 5, starting at 9:00 a.m. for ditching work.

Motorists are advised to slow down and follow traffic control in the work area.
