Coney Island Floating Walkway Removal

Please be advised the City is planning to remove the Coney Island floating walkway on Thursday, May 14, weather permitting.

If the walkway cannot be removed on May 14 due to weather, it will be removed at the earliest opportunity during the week of May 17.

The weather can impact the safe removal of the walkway. The walkway is moved in one large piece, and this can be difficult on windy days and with larger waves.
