First Street South Closure for Community Event

Please be advised that a portion of First Street South from Seventh Avenue South to Eight Avenue South will be closed to all traffic from Tuesday, August 25, at 9:00 a.m. to Sunday, August 30, at 4:00 p.m., to accommodate the set-up and operation of the Kenora Agricultural Fair and Midway.

This year, the Kenora Agricultural Fair takes place from August 27 to 29. During this time, motorists may see increased traffic congestion and limited parking in the area. Drivers are reminded to watch for pedestrians near the event grounds. Those attending the event may park for free in the Park Street Lot on evenings and weekends.
