Notice of the Voters’ List 2026 Municipal Elections

Notice is hereby given that the list of all persons entitled to be electors for municipal elections in the City of Kenora has been prepared by the Clerk’s office.

As of September 1, 2026, all electors should ensure that their names and relevant information are correct on the Voters’ list.

A person may make an application to the Clerk requesting that their name be added to, or removed, from the Voters’ list or that information on the Voters’ list relating to them be amended by completing and filing the prescribed form available at:

Kenora, ON

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., September 1 to October 9 (closed Statutory holidays)

Special Hours between October 13 and 26 include:

  • October 13 to 16: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • October 17: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • October 19 to 23: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • October 24 and 25:  9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • October 26: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The application shall be in writing and shall be filed in person, or by mail, email or fax by the applicant or their agent. Proof of identity and residence as prescribed in O.Reg. 304/13 will be required of the applicant. If the applicant does not appear in person, a certified copy showing proof of ID and proof of residence/occupancy is required.

Qualification of Electors:

  • You are at least 18 years old on Election Day, October 26, 2026
  • You are a Canadian citizen,
  • You or your spouse lives, rents or owns property in the municipality, and
  • You are not otherwise prohibited by law from voting.
