Planned Power Outage Notice to Hydro One Customers

Hydro One will be replacing poles and requires a planned power outage in our community on June 25, from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Customers have been notified in advance. 

For additional information, customers can visit the outage map and select “Future Planned Outages” in the legend or contact Hydro One at 1-888-664-9376.

Customers are encouraged to prepare for the outage by taking the following steps:

1. Ensure appliances, such as stoves, are in the off position.
2. Make sure cellphones and other devices are fully charged.
3. Use a battery-powered alarm clock or cellphone to avoid missed alarms.
4. Keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible; consider using a cooler with ice for items needed during the outage.
5. If water services may be affected, consider filling jugs of water for drinking and cooking.
6. If using a generator, ensure it is operated outdoors in a dry area, away from windows, doors, and vents. For additional safety tips, visit the Electrical Safety Authority at https://esasafe.com/.
