Public Notice Traffic Delays for Community Grad Parade

Please be advised that there may be traffic delays along the Harbourfront on Monday, June 15, between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Local high schools are hosting the first annual Community Grad Parade starting at the Jarnel Contracting Pavilion and following the sidewalk on the greenbelt to McLeod Park. The goal of this event is simple: to fill our community with pride, cheers, celebration, and positivity while recognizing the incredible accomplishments of all our graduates. We hope to see families, friends, staff, and community members lining the route to help make this a memorable send-off for the Class of 2026.

The community is encouraged to support the graduates by driving by, honking, waving, and cheering from their vehicles or boats as they walk along the Harbourfront. Let's light up our community and show our graduates how proud we are of them!

Motorists are advised to use caution during this time to ensure the safety of all parade participants.

Thank you to the public for their patience and cooperation as we celebrate the Class of 2026 together.
