Stay Informed and Connected During Emergencies by Joining Voyent Alert!
The City of Kenora is pleased to announce it has chosen the Voyent Alert! service to keep you informed during times of urgency.
Voyent Alert! is a multi-purpose communication service provided by the City and Kenora Fire & Emergency Services to keep you informed during critical events like fires, floods, evacuations, fire bans, service disruptions, and other urgent information.
“Clear and reliable communication is an important part of public safety. Voyent Alert! helps us share important information quickly and directly with residents across the community,” says Gord Howard, Fire Chief and Community Emergency Management Coordinator.
Registration for the service is free, simple, and anonymous. You can choose how you would like to receive alerts, either through the Voyent Alert! mobile app, email, or text message, or voice call. You choose which methods are best to reach you, register for them all or pick and choose.
Voyent Alert! allows you to create and track multiple locations, such as “Kids School” or “Mom’s House”. Any critical event or communication related to your tracked locations will be forwarded to you along your preferred communication channel. Voyent Alert’s smart alerting capabilities ensure that you will only get notified when a communication is relevant to you or locations you choose to track.
