Are you Interested in Serving your Community? We are Seeking Members-At-Large for Various Boards and Committees.

We are actively preparing for the 2026 Municipal Election and the current Boards and Committees appointments expire with this term of Council. 

The new Council will be seeking Kenora residents interested in serving as a municipal representative on the following Boards and Committees; (Term November 14, 2030 or ‘at the pleasure of Council’):

• Community Safety and Well Being Implementation Committee
• Accessibility Advisory Committee
• District of Kenora Home for the Aged Management Board
• Sustainability Advisory Committee
• Kenora O.P.P. Detachment Board 1
• Kenora Public Library Board
• MUSE Board
• Committee of Adjustment/Property Standards Appeal Committee
• Kenora Age Friendly Committee

Eligibility for appointments is in accordance with Council Policy #CC-14-1. Terms of Reference for each of these committees which outline their role and duty can be found on our Committees and Boards page.
