Ninth Street North Road Closure Expanded

Please be advised that the upgrades to road and underground infrastructure project on Ninth Street North will expand to include Rupert Road to Scramble Avenue beginning on Monday, July 14.
This section of Ninth Street North will be closed to all traffic. Motorists are advised to follow signage and use alternate travel routes to avoid the project area.
Local traffic will be permitted where possible.

Main Street South Temporary Closure

Please be advised that Main Street from First Street South to Second Street South will be closed and designated as a ‘No Parking Zone’ on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The Main Street Market will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is free to attend and open to the public. The ‘No Parking Zone’ will be established in the morning to allow vendors, shops, and food trucks time to set up.

Moncrief Construction Sports Centre Annual Pool Maintenance

Please be advised that the Aquatic Centre at the Moncrief Construction Sports Centre will be closed for annual maintenance and repairs starting on July 20, 2025.
On Saturday, July 19, the Doggy Dip and Dive swim event will be held in the leisure pool, before the scheduled maintenance begins for the summer.
Outdoor swim programming, including swim lessons, advanced courses, and private lessons, will be held at Garrow Beach, Keewatin Beach, and Anicinabe Beach.

Curbside Collection Update During Construction on Ninth Street North

Please be advised that during the road improvements on Ninth Street North, we are committed to continue providing recycle and garbage curbside collection for the Wednesday and Friday routes in the construction area.
Our crew will be using a half-ton truck to collect items and will be active between 8:15 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. We ask that customers have their items at the curbside promptly by 8:00 a.m. to ensure a smooth and efficient pick-up process.

Please be advised that there may be traffic delays in the downtown core on Saturday, June 28, between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
