Coker Road and Anderson Branch Road Surface Treatment

Please be advised that surface treatment repairs will be carried out on Coker Road and Anderson Branch Road starting on Tuesday, August 6, at the locations shown in the maps below.
Work will take place for the duration of August and into early September, weather permitting.
There may be traffic delays. Motorists and pedestrians are reminded to obey the signs and traffic controls. Use caution when heavy equipment is working.

Water Dispensing Station Upgrades

Please be advised that the City of Kenora water dispensing stations are being upgraded to a new key-fob payment system.
The Crawford Road Station has been upgraded to the key-fob system. Customers with water cards can still access bulk water at the Evergreen Road Station (low and high flow).
On Tuesday, August 6, the Evergreen Station will be out of service for upgrades.
Once both stations have been converted, customers will need a key-fob to use the water stations. The new key-fobs are available...
Drewry Drive Temporary Closure

Please be advised that a portion of Drewry Drive will be closed to all traffic beginning on Thursday, July 18, and reopening on Wednesday, August 7.
Access from the north and south entrances of Drewry Drive will remain open to local traffic.
The temporary closure is necessary to accommodate a water and sanitary service installation.

Fourteenth Avenue North Improvement Project

Please be advised that road and sidewalk improvements will begin on Fourteenth Avenue North on Monday, July 15, closing the road to all traffic and pedestrians.
The improvement work will be completed in two phases. The first phase takes place between Eighth Street North and Sixth Street North. The second phase will extend up to Ninth Street North. Detour routes will be in place.
Only local traffic will be permitted through the work site.
Sidewalks will be closed to pedestrians.

Municipal Bridge Assessment Work

Please be advised that assessment work will take place from July 8 to 12 on municipal bridges. Engineers will use rope access to inspect the bridge structures and may be seen climbing underneath to complete this work.
There will be no impacts to traffic or lane closures required.
This is Phase 1 of the City’s Bi-annual Bridge Assessment Project which reports on the status of municipal bridges for maintenance planning.
