First Street South and Chipman Street Sidewalk Closure

Please be advised that the sidewalks fronting the northeast corner of First Street South and Chipman Street will be closed from March 17 to August 31.
The closure is necessary to allow for the construction of Waasegiizhig Nanaandawe’iyewigamig’s (WNHAC) new facility.
Pedestrians are advised to use the sidewalks on the opposite side of the streets during this period.
We thank the public for their cooperation and patience during this private construction project.
Railway Street Traffic Reduced to Single Lane

Please be advised that traffic on Railway Street from 1401 to 1629 Railway Street will be reduced to a single lane on Thursday, March 13, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for street light installations.
Flaggers will be on-site to manage traffic flow.

Please be advised that the precautionary boil water advisory issued on February 23, 2025, has been rescinded for all persons consuming water from the City of Kenora water distribution system from the following locations:
- 470 Lakeview Drive and west including homes and businesses in the following areas: Norman, Keewatin, Highway 17 West, and Darlington Drive

Public Notice Water Main Break Update on Norman Drive

Please be advised that the water main break on Norman Drive has been fully repaired by our crews overnight.
Norman Drive and the surrounding roads are now open to traffic.
The Precautionary Boil Water Advisory shall remain in effect until a notice of rescind is issued.
