Road Closure at Veterans Drive Overpass Bridge

Please be advised that Veterans Drive, from Third Street North to the Harbourfront Roundabout, will be closed today, Wednesday, May 7, for maintenance work on the overpass bridge conducted by CP.

Motorists are reminded to follow detours signs.

Road and Storm Sewer Project at Back Lane of Mikado Avenue

Please be advised that a reconstruction project at the back lane of Mikado Avenue from Tenth St North to Ninth St North will begin on Monday, May 5, to replace the existing asphalt and storm sewer. 

The work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday, unless specific site conditions require alternative hours. Access through the construction zone will be limited at times. 

We anticipate the reconstruction project will be completed by the end of June.

Anicinabe Park, Old Chalet Lane Access Road Closure

Please be advised that the access road between Anicinabe Park and Old Chalet Lane will be closed from Thursday, May 1, until the Park closes in the fall. This annual temporary closure is put in place while the Park operates each season.

River Drive Temporary Road Closure

Please be advised that a section of River Drive, between 870 River Drive and 876 River Drive, will be closed to all traffic beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, April 14, for a water services line repair. 

Motorists are advised to use alternate travel routes during this time. 

Access to K-Sports Marine will be maintained from the east end of River Drive.

Public Notice Water Main Break Update on Norman Drive

Please be advised that the water main break on Norman Drive has been fully repaired by our crews overnight. 

Norman Drive and the surrounding roads are now open to traffic. 

The Precautionary Boil Water Advisory shall remain in effect until a notice of rescind is issued.
