The City announces, on today’s date, July 24, 2025, that it is proceeding with the expropriation of the historic Kenricia Hotel as part of its efforts to revitalize Kenora’s downtown core. This initiative aims to create a vibrant, inclusive, and thriving community space for residents and visitors alike.

The Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) depot at the Transfer Station is conveniently moving to Saturdays, starting June 7 and continuing every Saturday until the end of September. The HHW depot hours will remain the same - open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
