Snow Removal, Valley Drive

Please be advised that snow removal operations will take place on Valley Drive from Hillside Crescent to Heenan Place and from 1405 Valley Drive to Airport Road on Monday, January 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The work plan may be adjusted if there are weather changes or if emergencies and other snow event priorities develop. 

Signs will be posted in the snow removal area to indicate ‘No Parking’ zones.  Vehicles parked in a signed snow removal zone may be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.

Please be advised a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory has been issued to all persons consuming water from the City of Kenora water distribution system from the following locations:

• Minnesota Street, address numbers 40, 30, 26, 22, 21, 19, 17, 15, 14, 13, 9, 8, 5, 2, 1;

• Pearson Street, address numbers 8, 16, 20, 28, 34, 42; and 
• 931 Lakeview Drive.

Due to repairs/upgrades the safety of the drinking water cannot be guaranteed.

Please be advised that snow removal operations will take place on Valley Drive on Friday, January 3, and the road will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

The work plan may be adjusted if there are weather changes or if emergencies and other snow event priorities develop.

Please be advised that snow removal operations will take place on Friday, December 20, on First Avenue South, from Mike Richards Way to Seventh Street South, and Seventh Street South, from First Avenue South to Fourth Avenue South.

These roads will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
