Evergreen Water Station Operational Now

Please be advised that the Evergreen Water Station on Brinkman Road is now operational.

To ensure the water station remains in good condition, please attach the hose to the chain on the side of the building after each use. This will prevent damage that may require servicing or repairs.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation at the water station.

Intermittent Closure at Lakeview Drive, Minnesota Street and Parsons Street Intersection

Please be advised that starting Monday, June 23, at 4 a.m., the eastbound lane of Lakeview Drive approaching the intersection at Parsons Street and Minnesota Street will be intermittently closed.

 The City will be installing temporary cement Jersey barriers at the intersection to improve safety. The installation work is expected to be completed by 9:00 a.m. 

Traffic control will be on-site during the installation. Motorists are advised to proceed cautiously and follow traffic control.

Ninth Street North Second Area Road Closure

Please be advised that a second reconstruction project on Ninth Street North from Twelfth Avenue North to Thirteenth Avenue North will begin on Thursday, June 26.

This section of Ninth Street North will be closed to all traffic during this time, and motorists are advised to follow the detour route around the project area. 

The work will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday, unless specific site conditions require alternative hours.

First Street South Road Closure

Please be advised that First Street South from the Park Street roundabout to Chipman Street will be closed to all traffic and pedestrians on Tuesday, June 24, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for construction works. 

Motorists are reminded to obey the signs and use caution when heavy equipment is working.

Ninth Street North Road Closure

Please be advised that a reconstruction project on Ninth Street North from the intersection of Mellick Avenue to Main Street Rideout will begin on Monday, June 23. 

This section of Ninth Street North will be closed to all traffic during this time, and motorists are advised to follow the detour route around the project area. 

Mellick Avenue and the adjacent back lanes will remain open to local residents only, with access from Tenth Street North.
