Notice to rate payers of all property classes
The 2024 Final Tax Bills for all property tax classes have been mailed as of Thursday, June 13, 2024.
The bills are due and payable on or before Thursday, July 25, 2024.
You have several options to pay your taxes, including:
- in person or drop box at City Hall
- by mail
- personal telephone banking
- on-line banking service
- PaySimply
Please allow 3 to 5 business days if paying on-line or directly at your financial institution.

Tenth Street Storm Works and Road Improvement

Please be advised that on Monday, June 17, Moncrief Construction Limited (MCL) will begin storm work and road improvements on Tenth Street in Keewatin from Ottawa Street to Highway 17. The project is expected to be completed by mid-August 2024.

We would like to inform you of some changes to the programs currently at the pool at the Moncrief Construction Sport Centre.
Participants will now be required to pre-register for the Deep Water Running Class and WaterFit no later than 7:00 p.m. the night before the class. You can do this by contacting our front desk at 807-467-2088. Please note the Deep Water Running class will be set to a capacity of 30 participants until June 21, 2024. Please be advised that Coker Road from Kelly Road to the east side of Rice Bay will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, June 6, due to the increasing water Level on Black Sturgeon Lake, specifically Rice Bay. The closure affects all vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
The closure ensures the integrity of the road is maintained by preventing significant damage that could occur if travel on the Coker Road were to continue during this high water period.
