The City of Kenora is pleased to announce that Steve Woolrich has been actively engaging with the community, walking the streets, and meeting with local businesses to analyze community safety issues in the Harbourtown Centre. Effective immediately, the Keewatin Library and Keewatin Senior Centre are closed.
The Keewatin Library building located on Ottawa Street has been deemed unsafe for occupancy due to a structural issue with the roof.
This building holds programming for library services as well as our Keewatin Senior Centre which will be impacted by this closure.

We would like to remind our customers about the Transfer Station rules and regulations to ensure the safety of all who enter the site.
The Transfer Station, located at 401 Mellick Avenue, is an industrial area with heavy equipment in operation at all times. All City of Kenora equipment and trucks have the right of way at the Transfer Station. Customers are required to safely yield and stop for these vehicles at all times.
