Please be advised that the City of Kenora will be performing hydrant flow testing, flushing, and winterizing of the City of Kenora Water System beginning Monday, September 20, through to Friday, October 29, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Please note that the following may occur:
- Discoloration of the drinking water. If this happens, run the cold water tap until the water clears.

Please be advised that Sierra Construction will begin constructing an accessible paved walkway at Norman Park starting on Tuesday, September 7.
During the construction period, it may be required to close Norman Beach temporarily to visitors.
The Rotary Splash Park will continue to operate as usual; however, note that the seasonal closing date is mid-September.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of September.

Please be advised that beginning on Tuesday, August 17, Titan Contractors will begin construction in the Central Park area.
A portion of Park Street will be closed for the day on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.
A portion of First Street South will be closed until further notice, with a detour route in place.
A speed bump to protect a bypass pumping line will be installed on Park Street.
A construction speed limit will be posted in the construction zone.

The City is excited to announce the sale of the property and building at 1125 Highway 17 East has been finalized. As of July 12, 2021, the City officially signed over the property to the new owner. Today Mayor and Council officially unlocked the gate to the City’s first permanent off-leash dog park. The new dog park, located behind the A & W ball diamonds, answers the call from dog enthusiasts for a much needed off-leash space in the municipality.
